The Dualit Blender Reviews

Dualit has come a long way from toasters

Dualit blender is a relatively new product for the Dualit company from England, a company which has made names in other types of small kitchen's small appliances, most notably toasters.

In general, this company tends to produce one or two models per product, but their products are of good quality and have good reputation. Not surprising, they can proudly boast the Good Housekeeping consumer award, and two "Which?" Best Buy awards.

In common with other kitchen appliance's product from this company, Dualit blender is also designed for quality. Since this company also tends to produce one or two models per-product, they only produce two kinds of blenders: countertop and hand blender; each has only one model.

So now, let's go over the Dualit table top blender together and find out the answer to the question:

"Is this the blender for me?"

Dualit Professional Blender

Dualit Kitchen Blender

Although Dualit has only one countertop blender, it's a solid contender to be sure.

To use it, you have to mount the blade and the 1.5 liter (around 50 fl.oz) glass carafe onto the base. Since the carafe doesn't come as an all in one item with the blade, like the KitchenAid blender, it may take a while to assemble it. The whole blade assembly is stainless steel and even comes with a measuring cup built into the lid, making cooking and measuring far less messy and far more convenient.

Once you throw in the content, you would have to put the lid on and lock it. Otherwise it won't start. While it may take a moment to figure out the safety mechanisms at first, once you understand that both glass and lid must be locked down before the blades will spin, iit should be a breeze to use. I think that this safety feature is a good thought on part of Dualit and this makes the whole blender safer around children.

The real test of a blender is whether it can blend whatever you throw at it. One of the hardest blending job is making cold thick smoothie out of frozen fruit and crushed ice. If a blender can do that without hesitation, it is considered good.

Now, how about Dualit blender ?

Customers reported that Dualit professional blender can handle whatever they throw at it. Nothing come out as lumpy and underblended. That is pretty impressive, but not surprising if you look at the spec.

To begin with, this machine is equipped with ample motor power (more than 500 watt) and five blending buttons which can give five different blending speed options ranging 9000-160000 rpm. On top of that, there is a pulse turbo button to allow extra control over your tasks. These features make Dualit pro blender to be suitable for quite a range of blending activities.

I admit it is not as powerful as some blenders, like Vitamix blenders,or even as large as some of the others, but this is not an expensive blender either. In fact I will categorize it in medium class blender, which is suitable for day to day household blending activities.

Finally, given the weight of the blender and suction cups on the feet, you will be rest assured that this blender wouldn't vibrate, wobble, or walk on your countertop. With cheaper and lighter blenders, it is almost given that the blenders would wobble or even walk on your countertop if you operate at a certain speed or difficulty.
