Most of them are able to be thrown into the dishwasher to boot!

The motor too is astounding for a hand blender at a powerful 400 watts this is one of the most powerful hand blenders made for home usage, allowing it to be up to any task from blending smoothies to crushing ice and the anti-splash design of the entire unit makes it far less messy.

The speed selector is phenomenal as well, it even includes a one touch turbo button to jump you up to maximum speed instantly and without effort to make sure everything comes out right.

The ability to chop, whisk, blend, and mix all from one hand blender is an amazing boon to many home chefs. The parts are all high quality, and very strongly suited for any task that you might wish to throw at it.

Consumers are glowing about the product, with the only complaint being the price; I said it again but it begs repeating, you get what you give, a cheap hand blender will break, crack, or melt. If you are looking for a slightly less expensive alternative, there is the Braun hand blender model MR4050 (Multi-quick Advantage) and the Braun Multi-quick Classic, that all have the same technology and quality of the MR5550MBC, but if you are a serious cook, and serious about your work when you use a hand blender, you might as well spend the little extra cash and save yourself the money in the long run with the Braun Impressions line, and get all the attachments in one purchase instead of individually.
