No, its not a weapon for toddlers.

The Baby Bullet. Perhaps the worst name ever given to what might be one of the best devices ever thought of. This Magic Bullet version for making baby food comes with a plethora of extras such as lids, containers, a carafe for blending and blades to make just about any baby food you want with features to make food for every stage of your babies growing phases.

This baby blender comes as the same, solid construction as the Magic Bullet, and the same reliability.

As it does not use ice like many blenders, just water and fruit or whatever your deciding to blend together, the baby bullet does indeed make rather properly pureed (or chopped or ground depending on the setting) baby food. So with this blender you can make pureed food for babies who just start solid food, and chopped food for older babies. You can even grind oatmeal or rice to make your own.

The money-saving potential with this device is huge. I won't give you all the numbers; you can find the infomercial on YouTube for that if you want. But the break down is easy, think of the cost of a bag of carrots, and now think of the cost of 10 jars of carrot baby food. There you go, the math is done for you right there.

Also, if you compare the price of the kit (i.e. the Baby Bullet blender and all the accessories), it comes out cheaper than most of the electrical baby blender out there.

The only downside I have found with the baby bullet is that sometimes it takes a little longer than the advertised 'few seconds' but only a few seconds more, and it worked well in my home trials. I brought it back only because I have no baby, and have no use for the small serving sizes.

Another downside is that it doesn't come with the steam feature. Baby bullet's competitor does have the steam feature incorporated into the blender or food processor, but then the price is also heftier than that of baby bullet.

The Containers

Aside from the blender itself, the kit comes with bowls, freezing jars (containers) with lids and storage tray, freezing trays, a spatula, and recipe and nutrition books.

The containers hold the food until you are ready to use it and they can be put in the fridge. Those containers also come with dials that you can set the date on them so you know when its time to throw them out. This little baby can save you hundreds, even thousands of dollars on baby food.

If you have your own jars (baby bullet kit only comes with only half a dozen of jars), it's even better since you can make more and freeze those. If you need more jars, Fresh N Freeze Baby Food Containers are cheap enough, safe, have tight lids, and are very suitable for freezing single serving food (one jar can contain 2 oz of food).

However, to save money and space, I suggest you to just using more ice cubes to freeze baby foods for home use, and use jars to store food only for traveling. Do You Really Need the Baby Bullet ?

Now, the million dollar question. Do you really need the Baby Bullet blender ?

The high point of getting a kit like this is that everything is included, from the blender which can puree, chop, and grind, to all the baby food making accessories. The blender itself is small and is very handy if you want to make a variety of food in smaller portion. This makes making baby food more convenient.

Now, normally I don't make the speech like that on how you should buy a product, but do I think that home made foods are better than processed foods? VERY much so. So just making the food at home for your baby, is something I approve of, and this little device makes it just THAT much easier for you to process, jar, and feed your child the most healthy food you possibly can.

If you like to make big batches of baby food, and have a good functioning multi purpose normal size blender, a bunch of jars, and trays to freeze the food, then you may not need this kit. What this kit does is to present you with a small multi purpose blender and all accessories you need to make baby food. I would say, a first time mom would be the one who benefits the most from this kit.
